About us

"magichour camp calyptus" is a small, family-run private campsite nestled in the mountains of Shizuoka. 

We—Omi and Kumi—have nurtured this place little by little, engaging in a constant dialogue with nature.

We started with a neglected planted forest and gradually shaped the land with our own hands — creating paths, planting trees and flowers, and carefully tending to the surrounding forest.

We continue to learn from this place, making small, incremental changes as the land grows alongside us.

Our wish is simple: 

Through this place, we hope travelers can experience a quieter side of Japan and create memories that stay with them long after their journey ends.
