These Terms of Use provide important information and guidelines for guests using our facilities.

By making a reservation and staying at our campsite, guests agree to these terms.

Nature of Our Campsite

magichour camp calyptus is a small, private, off-grid campsite surrounded by nature in the mountains of Shizuoka, Japan.

To protect the natural environment and provide a peaceful experience, we welcome only one private group at a time.

Our campsite is designed to offer an authentic connection with nature and a simple mountain retreat experience.

Please understand that our facilities differ from conventional hotels or standard campsites:

  • No electricity is available at the campsite. Mobile battery chargers are available for guests to use.

  • Water is supplied from natural spring water and is not treated as regular city tap water.

  • We use an eco-friendly compost toilet.

  • There is no shower or bath facility available.

  • Due to the natural mountain environment, accessibility may be limited in some areas.

Guests who choose to stay with us agree to enjoy a simple lifestyle close to nature.

Eligibility

Use of the facilities is limited to individuals aged 18 or older, or guests under 18 with parental or guardian consent.

Reservations and Communication

magichour camp calyptus does not use an automated reservation system.

Reservations are confirmed through direct communication with each guest by email.

Before your stay, we kindly ask guests to share their travel plans, preferences, and any requests so that we can prepare a comfortable and meaningful experience.

If you need to make any changes to your reservation, please contact us as soon as possible.

Fire and BBQ Guidelines

Campfires, wood stoves, and BBQ equipment may only be used in designated areas and according to the instructions provided by the host.

Guests must never leave fire unattended and must ensure that all fires are completely extinguished before leaving the area or going to sleep.

Respect for Nature

Guests are asked to respect the natural surroundings and help maintain the peaceful atmosphere of the mountain environment.

The following actions are prohibited:

  • Excessive noise or activities that disturb the surrounding natural environment

  • Littering or improper disposal of waste

  • Damage to plants, wildlife, or the natural environment

Damage, Accidents, and Liability

Guests are responsible for taking care of their own safety while staying in a natural mountain environment.

The operator cannot be held responsible for accidents, injuries, theft, loss, or damage caused by circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters or severe weather.

If facilities, equipment, or property are damaged or lost due to guest actions, repair or replacement costs may be charged.

Prohibited Acts

The following are prohibited:

  • Any actions that violate laws or regulations

  • Bringing animals (except assistance dogs)

  • Smoking outside designated areas

  • Any behavior that damages the natural environment or disturbs the peaceful atmosphere

Changes to These Terms

The operator may revise these Terms of Use when necessary.

Any changes will be announced on the website, and continued use of the facilities after such announcement will be subject to the revised terms.
