LOCATION

Located in the mountains of Shizuoka, surrounded by nature, magichour camp calyptus offers a peaceful retreat where guests can slow down, reconnect with nature, and enjoy a quiet escape from the city.

The experience begins on the way to the mountains.
After we pick you up, we will travel together and stop at a local food market where you can choose fresh ingredients, drinks, and other items for your stay.

HIGHLIGHTS

On clear days, guests can enjoy breathtaking views of Japan’s most iconic mountain, Mt. Fuji, from the campsite.

Surrounded by the quiet beauty of the mountains, you can experience a special moment that changes with each season and each day.

SUSTAINABILITY

We began this journey by carefully clearing old planted conifer forests and restoring the land with a diverse variety of trees and plants.

As the forest has gradually changed, foxes, rabbits, and other small animals have started to return.

Little by little, the original ecosystem of this land is coming back to life.

This is our small-scale experiment in natural regeneration —
a small challenge to bring nature back, and one idea for creating a more sustainable future.

EXPERIENCE

At magichour camp calyptus, the entire campsite is reserved for only one group per stay, offering a rare and truly private camping experience in Japan.

We are not a hotel.

We are a Japanese couple living close to nature, and we welcome our guests with heartfelt hospitality and genuine care.

Here, you will discover experiences that can only be found at magichour camp calyptus.

Let’s create unforgettable memories together.
